Founded in 2020, the Heart & Soul Music Festival has quickly become a can’t-miss event, celebrating African American culture with its star-studded music lineups, diverse vendors, health screenings, and educational resources. As Apopka’s largest urban music festival, we are honored to bring you a phenomenal lineup this year featuring legendary bands and artists.

2024 Heart & Soul Festival Lineup:

• Zapp: This iconic band, formed in the late 1970s, brought the funk and electronic sound that defined a generation. Their hits like "More Bounce to the Ounce" and "Computer Love" are timeless classics.
• Midnight Star: Emerging in the 1980s, Midnight Star dominated the R&B charts with hits like "Operator" and "No Parking on the Dance Floor." Their smooth funk grooves and energetic performances have made them unforgettable.

• Con Funk Shun: Known for their romantic lyrics and dance-inducing beats, Con Funk Shun has captivated audiences since the mid-1970s with songs like "Love’s Train" and "Ffun."
• Troop: This group burst onto the scene in the late 1980s with their harmonious R&B sound. Hits like "Spread My Wings" and "All I Do is Think of You" remain beloved by fans.
• Miki Howard: Renowned as one of the finest soul and jazz vocalists, Miki Howard has been wowing audiences since the 1980s with her powerful voice and heartfelt songs like "Love Under New Management" and "Come Share My Love."
